Vote on or by Election Thursday, February 5th
Election Day is Thursday, February 5th, 2026. You can vote in person at your polling place, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Accommodations will be made for voters with disabilities.
NOTE: Vote-by-mail ballots CANNOT be returned to your polling place for this election. However, if you're registered to vote by mail but prefer to vote in person on Election Day instead, you can cast a provisional ballot.

Early voting for the primary is open 6 days, Thursday, January 29th, 2025 – Tuesday, February 3rd, 2025. Locations are open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM except Sunday, February 1st when they are open 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday. Find your In-Person Early Voting Location →
Plan to Vote-By-Mail?
There are three ways to return your mail-in-ballot once you have completed it. We suggest you return it in a drop box or in-person at the Bergen County Board of Elections Office by 8:00 pm to ensure it's counted.

Board of Elections Office: Deliver it in person to your county’s Board of Elections Office.
By Mail: It must be postmarked on or before 8:00 p.m. Election Day and be received by your county’s Board of Elections on or before 6 days after Election Day.
